RON IMPELLO
Ron served on the Strong as an FT2 from 1962 to 1963. His home town is
Bronx NY. After leaving the navy, he worked for the Telephone Company
in New York and the Molser Safe Company in Wayne NJ. He moved to
Atlanta in 1971 where he was a residential building contractor for 30
years. He and his wife Sherry, retired to Pensacola FL in 2001. They
have five children and eleven grandchildren.
In 2022, Ron was seleted to be the permanent president.

HAROLD WELCH
Harold served on the
Strong as a ETR2 from 1961 to 1963. His
home state
is Michigan. In 1968 He and his wife, Parsla,
moved to San Jose CA where
he worked as an engineer at
various Silicon Valley companies. In
2003 they moved to
Dacula GA. Harold served as
president of the association in 2015 & 2016.

JIM KELLY
Jim served on the
Strong from 1956 to 1958, and was
transferred to the USS Soley
DD707 as a QM2. Jim attended
college on his release from
active duty, and is now a CPA.
Jim and his late wife Rita
have a daughter who is also a CPA
and runs things in Jim's office

ROBERT FRYER
Bob served on the
Strong from 1958 to 1961, and was released
from active duty as a
EM2. Bob and Sue live in Hamilton,
Ohio, and have one
daughter, one son, and one grandson.
Bob is
also the TICKET SELLER at the reunions for the
drawings,
which supports scholarship fund. He has been
known
to take 5 and 10 dollar bills. But likes the feel of a 20
better!

Reuel passed away on Sept 13, 2023.

ARNOLD & JOHNNIE BAILEY
Arnold
served on the Strong as a EM2 from 1961 to 1965. He
and his
wife, Johnnie, live in Tennessee.
Arnold served as president of the association in 2011 & 2012.
Arnold is the head of the Sunshine Committee.

BILL KAMINSKI
Bill served on Strong
as a ETR2 from 1961-1964. His home
town is Bayonne N.J. In 1990
he moved to Merrimack N.H.
where he now lives and worked for
Lockheed-Martin for 45
years. Bill and his wife, Cindy, have been
married for 52
years. and have two daughters.
Bill became the association Chaplin when Reuel Kaighn passed in 2023.
Bill is also in charge of the raffel at the reunions and organizing the
scholarship selection.
Bill is also a Standing Member on the executive committee.

Vince was
President of Strong Association for the years 2009-
2010, 2011-2012,
Vince served on Strong as a BM3. He
passed away March 20, 2011.

ADRIAN REINHART
Adrian's tour of
duty on the Strong was from 1964 to 1967 as a
BT1.
Adrian served 20 years in the NAVY and retired as a
Senior Chief (BTCS)
He is a widower, and his home town is
Fort Branch, Indiana. Adrian
passed away November 2, 2009.
